Splinter Cell Conviction - Review Xbox 360,Pc

There have been many criticisms of the fifth installment of the series created by Tom Clancy. Despite an average rating of 8.5 (source Metacritic), many have called a small disappointment, a game too simplified compared to the past (eg once killed the enemies, they can no longer conceal the bodies) but I analyze it as a game in itself, without making comparisons with the past, partly because I admit, this was the first chapter of Splinter Cell that I had.
For the uninitiated, the game is a third-person stealth action with sections that play as Sam Fisher, a former member of Third Echelon (a section of the NSA.) Sam decided to leave the agency he worked for because of ' order, which he runs, his friend of killing a suspected tradimento.Dopo this astonishing event, Fisher life change, it ceases to be a killer sempice state and become a citizen until one day, his beloved daughter Sarah died hit by a car . At first we immediately think of a tragic and random accident but to Sam, something is not convincing ... and after three years after the fact, a track leads our hero to Malta, where we will start our adventure. As you have seen the plot is really interesting, with twists, intrigues and betrayals with a good script. The gameplay is really enjoyable, killing enemies in silence has never been so much fun, you can not hide behind anything, climbing walls, cornices and immerse ourselves from even getting on the tube and then kill the enemy from above, all with a few keystrokes, fantastic. The weapons are a dozen, including handguns (with and without silencer), machine guns, assault rifles, a shotgun (and all behave in a very realistic) and various other gadgets like grenades, the viewer to scan or tasty camera. Think for example of having to climb stairs and to hear the enemies upstairs but not to see them. At this point, throwing the camera on the top floor you can see through his "eyes" to understand the situation, to distract them with a piece of music that can play, not forgetting that we can blow up or that we can "mark" the enemy and then eliminate them with the push of a button. Yes, because now there is the mark which is to execute and the ability to mark up to four enemies at once and then disposing of it through automatic shots, and infallible. Obviously we can not always use this feature but only after killing a melee.

History in single takes about 10-12 hours but is not the only game mode. To increase the longevity of the title thinks a sort of prologue, playable in two (through spiltscreen or online) where you play as an agent of Third Echelon (Archer) or an agent of the Russian Voron (Kestrel) in which we recover the heads disappeared from EMP movement. This mode is divided into the four missions, lasting approximately 5 hours, where you can find all the features available in single, including the mark and execute even more compelling to use it in two. Obviously everything in the two becomes more fun, great way to take the enemy in a nice crossfire. Once over this too hard we still have a special missions playable alone or with others in the same adventure multiplayer maps plus the addition of two maps created especially for the occasion, bringing to six. The mission is to eliminate all the enemies or defend an EMP bomb by increasing waves of enemies, not to mention the competitive mode where two players will have to give hunting in the maps but it will be full of agents that both players will shoot. Speaking of graphics and sound, there is little to say seeing the good qualities of both, beautiful environments, both outside and internal detail with an unusual play of light and very charming. Finally a title to buy for all fans of Splinter Cell, Tom Clancy's stealth but also for those who want a good adventure, action and dressed up with a decent multiplayer segment.
