Deadly Premonition Xbox 360 - review

For the uninitiated, Deadly Premonition is a Japanese survival horror with elements of investigation into a free-roaming environment where you can perform several activities, including missions (more or less important) and mini-games including fishing or shooting darts . Unfortunately, due to a low budget and therefore little publicity, had little success.Too bad, because the product of Ignition is really a beautiful game, I would describe as a work of art by Leonardo da Vinci, made from materials not the height of genius is that low-budget dietro.Il available to developers has led to the game, except for the most important characters, is very similar to a title ps2.So many the graphical glitches, washed out textures, background elements like really skinny trees and so on (although the interior, the true location of the game are really nice atmosphere with the Resident Evil 1) as well as the sound is thin and obsolete but in fact, while the voices  and the music is memorable. Let us however the actual game, Deadly Premonition is in effect a tribute to the famous series Twin Peaks with lots of goodies that will certainly not escape the fans. The game puts us in the shoes of Francis Morgan York, an FBI agent with a schizophrenic personality (one of the most successful video game in history) who finds himself catapulted to Greenvale (small town in Washington state) to solve a heinous crime that shocked the whole town ... a young woman is found dead hanging from a tree. This is the incipit, which will catapult us into a series of events, investigations, and disturbing dreams as a few other games have ever managed to do. To join us in this mysterious yellow hues will be horror the sheriff of the city and an agent named Emily very well characterized although in truth they are all supporting actors to be characterized with masterly ways of doing and talk about all different from each other, to the point really feel there is a Greenvale.Perfect the screenplay, outperforming the much more noble, Heavy Rain as directed, the investigative stages and the many subtle messages that the game meant to convey.Truly an experience that in one breath in all its 40/50 hours game if you want to do it all become that 20/25 if you point to one main history.Among the investigative stages will be stages in the Resident Evil 4, then close in the third person, but with opponents far more difficult and frightening.Too Bad some of the repetition and imprecise controls that undermine the gameplay, at least in the beginning. In the end a game with many technical faults, but really to love and without defects in the end, that once more you will never forget, as well as Never forget the great York.
